1. In vitro, there are several easy available ways of receiving chloride of calcium. For example, reaction of calcium metal with hydrochloric acid. Calcium, being very active metal, easily forces out hydrogen ions, taking their place: Ca + 2HCl = CaCl2 + H2

2. With the same acid reacts calcium oxide as has pronounced main properties is easy: CaO + 2HCl = CaCl2 + H2O

3. It is also possible to receive this product during reaction of hydrochloric acid with a calcium carbonate. Stronger hydrochloric acid "will easily force out" the rest of another, much weaker. The formed coal H2CO3 acid almost instantly will decay on water and carbon dioxide: SaSO3 + 2HCl = CaCl2 + CO2 + H2O

4. What methods used in the industry? First of all, chloride calcium is received as a by-product by production of soda in the ammoniac way, when receiving potassium chloride (KClO4) and other salts-chlorates.

5. The second option more favorable from the economic point of view as the product yield (calcium chloride) is much higher.

6. Also already mentioned method of receiving this substance from a calcium carbonate is used. As raw materials, limestone is used. Its shredded pieces process hydrochloric acid in futerovanny, covered with an inside protective layer, steel tanks, purify the formed solution from impurity, filter, dehydrate and dry. This way receive cleaner product, than by soda or chloratny production.
