Traditionally temperature is taken by means of the device which is called the mercury thermometer. This tool was invented by Daniel Garbriel Fahrenheit about 1715. Subsequently different scientists offered the scales of temperatures for this device. So, Anders Tselsy in 1742 offered a system which divides freezing and boiling of water in 100 degrees, and lord Calvin in 1848 found an absolute minimum of temperatures, having called it absolute zero which equals – 273.15 degrees Celsius.
Temperature scale of Calvin
Kelvin is called unit of thermodynamic temperature which is one of seven main sizes of measurement in the International System of Units of physical quantities (SI).
On the existing Calvin's scale the report of temperature is kept with value of absolute zero – the minimum limit of temperatures which can have a physical body in the Universe.
