How to transfer gram to liter

In the equipment and in life a large number of units of measure of density is used. To transfer value of density from some units to others, it is necessary to know their mutual ratios. It is the simplest to translate density set in grams on liter in similar (metric) units of measure. However at transfer of grams to liter to foreign measures not to do without calculator any more.

It is required to you

Instruction

1. To transfer density set in grams on liter (g/l) to gram on decimeter cubic (g/dm³), kilogram on cubic meter (kg/m³), milligram on centimeter cubic (mg/cm³), just change name units of measure, without changing the most numerical value of density. So, for example, density of water equals 1000 g/l. Respectively, in above-mentioned units it will make: 1000 g/dm³, 1000 kg/m³, 1000 mg/cm³.

2. To transfer density from grams to liter in gram on centimeter cubic (g/cm³) or milligram on millimeter cubic (mg/mm³), divide a preset value of density for 1000 (or increase by 0.001). I.e. density of water will be in these units 1 (1000/1000) – 1 g/cm³ and 1 mg/mm³, respectively.

3. For the translation of density from grams on liter in gram on cubic meter (g/m³) or milligram on liter (mg/l), increase value of density for 1000. So the water density expressed in these units will be 1000000 (1000 x 1000) – 1000000 g/m³ and 1000000 mg/l.

4. To transfer density from grams to liter in gram on millimeter cubic (g/mm³) or kilogram on centimeter cubic (kg/cm³), divide value of density into 1000000 (increase by 0.000001). The water density which is written down in such units will equal 0.001 g/mm³ and 0.001 kg/cm³.

5. For transfer of grams to liter to microgram to liter (mkg/l) or milligram to cubic meter (mg/m³), increase the known value of density by 1000000. I.e. density of water will be 1000000000 mkg/l and 1000000000 mg/m³.

6. To translate the substance density expressed in grams on liter in: - ounces on foot cubic - increase value of density by 0.9988473692; - – increase ounces on gallon by 0.1335264712; - cubic – increase ounces on inch by 0.000578036672; - cubic - increase pounds on foot by 0.06242796058; - - increase pounds per gallon by 0.008345404452; - cubic – increase tons on yard by 0.0008427774678.
