The behavior of the person is defined not only by reason, but also instincts - congenital behavior. All instincts peculiar to people have exclusively natural origin. What instincts got to the person from animals? What of them are basic?
In spite of the fact that the person is a being the conceiving, i.e. possessing reason, some motives of his behavior are based only on instincts.
What is instincts?
The congenital behavior put by the nature is peculiar not only an animal, but is characteristic also of the person. Of course, people are able to think and thanks to it to control the acts, suppressing the instinctive nature. But in a situation of danger or in case "animal" begins to dominate over "human", the nature prevails. All have instincts absolutely ""Goma the sapiens"", and they are that the general that unites the person and an animal.
What instincts got to the person from animals?
Self-preservation instinct. Thanks to it people are able to distinguish potential dangers and take care, commensurating own forces and desires. At some this congenital behavior is expressed by feeling of discomfort. It often arises if, for example, the person appears in unfamiliar places. Sense of danger dictates also further behavior. However at a number of daredevils this instinct is muffled, and travelers pioneers safely go new routes, exploring reserved territories.
Reproduction instinct. Any living being reproduces itself. In it the law of life is signed, and the person as a part of the living world participates in reproduction process too. Imposing of reason allows to muffle a sexual instinct, and people regulate the sexual life, without copulating uncontrolledly. However, the similar behavior is peculiar also to animals who form one couple for the rest of life.
Especially there are a lot of examples of monogamous behavior among birds. Swans, black signature stamps, albatrosses, white-headed sea eagles and even ordinary turtle-doves create couple for the rest of life.
Maternal instinct. One of the strongest congenital instincts allowing to nurse posterity, to preserve and care for it. Indissoluble communication mother child exists so long how many the child remains to helpless and subject dangers. Maternal, as well as other instincts, it is closely connected with the hormonal level of the person. Powerful communication mother child allows to regulate physiological processes: release of colostrum and milk, light superficial sleep and others.
Not without reason powerful start of natural behavior of mother is carried out with applying of the newborn child to a breast. The behavior of the women who were taking out the undesirable kid and for the first time fed with his breast demonstrates to it.
There is no uniform instinct which would not get in inheritance to the person from animals though homo sapienses often do not realize the reasons of the behavior dictated by the nature.
