The decorative aquarium is original decoration of the apartment. In case it is bought, at a set usually there is also an aquarian cover. But in many cases – for example, at independent production of an aquarium – it should be designed independently.

- Plywood 3-4 mm thick, laths, small nails, decorative film, glass 3 mm thick, illumination lamps.
Instruction
1. The aquarian cover has to solve several problems at once. First of all, in it illumination lamps are established. Besides, often in a cover the integumentary glasses interfering water evaporation are mounted.
2. At first create design of future cover. It can be rectangular or with the mown front and back surfaces. Then choose material, usually it is plywood or a fibreboard. Cut out cover details, according to the necessary sizes. Connect them the laths beaten from the inside by small carnations.
3. The cover has to put on on an aquarium, closing from above about three centimeters of glass. That it did not fail below, on perimeter beat small carnations the limiting laths. From within, attach cartridges for illumination lamps to a top side of a cover. It is necessary to put one-two fluorescent lamps of a white luminescence (LB) and one glow lamp on 25-40 W., it will improve a light range at the expense of warm yellow beams. The electrics of an aquarium works in the environment with high humidity therefore provide reliable contacts in all chains. Follow safety rules – in particular, anywhere there should not be bared wires, contacts, socles of lamps, etc.
4. The top part of a cover has to rise by fixed in its back part loops. Make integumentary glass of two half, right and left. So it will be easier for you to take out them. A front corner of the right integumentary glass, with the parties approximately on 10 cm, cut off the glass-cutter. Paste to it silicone adhesive the small handle, the small piece of glass with smoothed edges can be it. You will use the opening covered by this triangle for feeding of fishes.
5. Provide in a cover necessary openings for a hose of the compressor, a heater wire, etc. In a back part of a cover drill about 10 openings with a diameter of 8-10 mm, they are necessary for withdrawal of heat generated by lamps. Paste over an internal surface of a cover with a foil. On side surfaces you can place switches of lighting, aeration, heating. Outside paste over a cover with a decorative film under a tree.
