In a geometrical progression, the mankind aspired to a computer era, created all new and new computers which performed harder and harder functions. And in 1938 the first trial mechanical programmable Z1 car on the basis of which in 1941 the same person creates the first Z3 computer having all properties of the modern computer was created. The German engineer Conrad Tsuze was a person who created this first mechanical computer.
And who constructed the first electronic computer?
In 1942 the American physicist John Atanasoff and his graduate student Clifford Berri developed and began to mount the first electronic computer. The work was not completed, but had a great influence on the creator of the first ENIAK electronic computer. That person who constructed the ENIAK computer – the first electronic and computing digital car was John Mokley, the American physicist and the engineer. John Mokley generalized the basic principles of creation of the COMPUTER on the basis of experience of development of cars and in 1946 to the world the real electronic ENIAC computer appeared. John von Neumann was the head of development, the principles stated to them and structure of the COMPUTER and began to be called further – von Neumann.
So it is possible to answer questions of in what year created the computer where the first computer was created and who created the first computer differently. If it is about the mechanical computer, then the creator of the first computer can be considered Conrad Tsuze, and the country in which invented the first computer – Germany. If to consider the first ENIAC computer, then respectively John Mokley, created the first COMPUTER in the USA.
The first computers nevertheless were far from those which we use now – personal computers. The first computers were huge, occupied quite often big spaces, of the size of the three-room apartment and weighed up to 28 tons! The Personal Computers (PC) appeared much later.
Who created the first personal computer?
Creation of the first personal computers became possible only in the 1970th years. Some people became in house conditions to assemble computers for the sake of research interest as useful application in house conditions to computers was practically not. And in 1975 there was first Altair personal computer 8800 which became commercially successful first personal computer. The American engineer Henry Edward Roberts who was also the founder and the president of the Micro Instrumentation and Telemetry Systems company which began release of the first personal computer became the creator of the first personal computer. Altair 8800 was chief of a boom of a computerization of the population.
