Inoculation – introduction to a human body of vaccine which creates artificial immunity to a certain disease. The born child has the immunity acquired through mother's placenta, but over time its protection weakens. Vaccination promotes development of antibodies which will help to protect the child's organism from a disease.
At vaccination there is an artificial introduction to an organism of the child of the weakened microorganisms, bacteria or viruses. At the same time development of antibodies as the organism received team about the arisen threat which is required to be eliminated immediately begins. As the immune system made reaction to alien organisms, it will be already ready for the repeated answer if the virus tries to punch protection again. The inoculation is not recommended to be done when the immunity of the child is weakened: cold or any other infection, allergic reaction from the previous inoculations, arrival of the child in a garden or school (stressful situation). There is a certain schedule of vaccination for children. The pediatrician is obliged to direct kids to inoculations according to their age. Unfortunately, many parents are afraid to do inoculations to the children. It is connected with what often narrates media about side effects of vaccination. But various reactions can cause not only inoculations, but also drugs. And without many obligatory inoculations children cannot cost. For example, from whooping cough, poliomyelitis, tuberculosis, hepatitis, diphtheria, measles, tetanus, vaccine of domestic and foreign production, it is not necessary to doubt any given inefficiency. Both of them conform to requirements of WHO and will protect the child from a disease. After an inoculation at the child temperature can rise a little, appear hypostasis or reddening on the place of an injection, to worsen the general state. In this case collateral reaction has to take place within 3 days. After a measles, rubella and parotitis inoculation the emergence of complications within 5 – 14 days is possible. In case of temperature increase over 38 degrees are recommended to see a doctor.
