Week of the children's book is often included in the annual plan of work of kindergarten. It can promote the solution of such tasks as development of cognitive interest in preschool children, education of patriotic feelings on the example of heroes of books, etc.

1. In general problems of this week have to proceed from the annual task realized during this period. For carrying out week of the children's book, first of all, it is necessary to make the plan of measures. When scheduling it is necessary to consider age of children, load of them, a ratio of groups and the required rooms and also employment of specialists of kindergarten.
2. The plan of week of the children's book has to provide actions both for children, and for teachers and parents of pupils. All actions have to be directed to the solution of the planned tasks. For children holding a competition on the best expert on book heroes, master-class in repair of old books, viewing animated films according to books and also the dramatized activity is possible. All this will attract cognitive interest of children, will help to remember contents of books better.
3. For teachers it is possible to include such actions as an exhibition of the children's book, a seminar on acquaintance with a technique of familiarizing of children with reading, a competition on the most expressive reading in the plan, etc. It will allow teachers to plunge into a problem, to share the experience with colleagues, to learn something new for itself. Parents of pupils can also be invited to similar actions. It will help parents and teachers it is better to understand each other, will show importance of work of the teacher.
4. It is especially possible to celebrate such action as a meeting with the children's writer. Such meeting will be interesting to all. Children will receive an unforgettable impression of a conversation with the true author on which they can ask the interesting questions.
