Instruction
1. It is possible create a local area network between the computer and the laptop in two ways. For ensuring the largest information exchange rate recommend to create a wired network. To maintain mobility of the laptop – wireless. If you selected the second option, get adapter Wi-Fi.
2. Connect this device to PCI port of the motherboard or the USB connector, depending on type of the acquired adapter. Install drivers for this equipment.
3. Open a Network and Sharing Center. Pass into the Control of Wireless Adapters menu. Click "Add". To go to the menu of setup of network press Next.
4. Enter a name of future network. Select option of data encryption (WEP or WPA-PSK). Set the password corresponding to the selected safety type. Activate the Save Network Settings function. Press Next, and then – "Is ready".
5. Open properties of the wireless adapter. Pass to setup of the internet protocol TCP/IPv4. Install the static IP address for this device, equal 100.100.100.1.
6. Open settings of connection to the Internet on this computer. Select the Access tab. Allow your wireless network to use this connection to the Internet.
7. Turn on the laptop. Activate search of wireless networks. Be connected to the access point created by you Wi-Fi. Open settings of parameters of the wireless adapter. Set the following values for the required paragraphs of this menu: - 100.100.100.2 – the IP address;
- 100.100.100.1 – the main gateway;
- 100.100.100.1 – the alternative and preferred DNS servers.
8. Disconnect with the Internet on the first computer. Carry out this connection again. Make sure in existence of Internet access on the laptop.
