Several computers can be connected to the Internet without use of the router or the router. For this purpose it is necessary to configure correctly settings of network adapters through which the PC connection is carried out.

Instruction
1. If you need to connect two computers to network, then you will need three network interface cards. Connect the second network adapter to the most powerful computer. The additional loading connected with distribution of an Internet channel will be assigned to this PC. If you want to use the laptop for this purpose, then buy the special USB-LAN adapter.
2. Connect among themselves two computers, using for this purpose the network cable. Turn on both PCs that operating systems defined new network. Open a Network and Sharing Center on the computer host. Pass to settings of network adapters. Connect a cable of connection with the Internet to this PC. Perform tuning of this connection. In this case it is necessary to use standard network settings.
3. Open properties of connection to the Internet, having clicked with the right mouse button the corresponding icon. Pass to the Access tab. Allow to use this connection with the Internet to computers of other local area network. Save parameters of this connection. Open properties of other network interface card. Pass to settings of parameters of the internet protocol TCP/IP. Select item which is responsible for use of the constant IP address. Enter its value, for example 169.169.169.1.
4. Pass to the second computer. Open the list of active networks and select that network adapter which is connected to the first PC. Open settings of the TCP/IP protocol. Enter the constant IP address, for example 169.169.169.2. Key Tab for automatic detection of a subnet mask. Now enter the IP address of the first computer which performs functions of the server, to the Main Gateway and Preferred DNS Server fields. Save parameters of this network interface card. Surely disconnect fayervoll on the first computer.
