Creation of a home wireless network is reached by means of the special equipment. Most often function of such devices is performed by routers. Sometimes similar networks are created using Wi-Fi of the adapters having potential of creation of access point.

Instruction
1. Study technical characteristics of your mobile devices. It is not only about laptops, but also about smartphones and tablet computers. Find out types of wireless networks with which the specified devices work. For this purpose study the instruction or find information interesting you on the website of vendor of the specific equipment.
2. Select Wi-Fi the router, relying on the received data. Unpack the device and connect to it a power cable. Connect the equipment to the mobile or desktop computer. Use for this purpose a patch cord which is included in the device package.
3. Connect a cable of Internet access to special port of the router. Usually it has the name WAN or Internet. Turn on the computer connected to the router. Start the web browser.
4. Open the web interface of the network equipment. For this purpose enter the necessary IP address into an address bar of the browser. Specify its value in the instruction to the device. Open the Internet menu and click Setup Wizard.
5. Follow the step-by-step menu of setup. Fill all necessary fields, being guided by requirements of your provider. It should be noted that in some situations it is more reasonable to use alternative configurations. Some routers, for example, work with the PPTP protocol more steadily, but not L2TP.
6. After setup of connection from providers open the Wireless Settings menu. Set parameters of a wireless network so that necessary devices could be connected to it.
7. Execute reset of Wi-fi of the router after introduction of the necessary changes. For this purpose press the corresponding button in the web interface or switch-off the power supply for several seconds.
8. Wait for full load of the router. Connect mobile devices to access point. Check a possibility of access to the network.
