Supersid can be named the special mode of distribution of data in some networks BitTorrent intended for the minimization of information volume given distributing until emergence of the first loaded.
Instruction
1. Make sure that the super-seeding function work mechanism is clear: everyone only one fragment of data unavailable for another downloading is provided to downloading (peer). Access to the following fragment of information is provided only after receiving confirmation in receiving the previous fragment from all downloading.
2. Make sure that one of the following BitTorren-clients supporting the superlED mode is used: - uTorrent; - Azareus; - BitSpirit; - BitTornado; - ABC.
3. Check whether the following conditions doing use of the super-seeding mode to relevant are met: - there are no other distributing; - information volume is big, and the channel is rather weak; - need of fast completion of distribution; - paid outbound traffic.
4. Open the Properties of a Torrent window and go to In the addition tab for performing inclusion of the super-seeding mode (for the client of uTorrent).
5. Apply a checkbox in the field "Begin distribution" in the section "Other Settings" and press the OK button for confirmation of command execution (for the client of uTorrent).
6. Use a drop-down menu of Settings for and specify the Super-Seed command for implementation of the procedure of inclusion of the superlED mode in the BitTopnado application.
7. Open the Setup menu of a top panel of tools of a window of the Azareus program and pass into the Queue point for performing operation of inclusion of the super-seeding mode (for the client of Azareus).
8. Select the Distribution item and apply a checkbox in the field "Include Super Seeding" (for the client of Azareus).
9. Open the Setup menu of the BitComet application and pass into the Connection Conditions point for implementation of the procedure of activation of the superlED mode (for the client of BitComet).
10. Change values of parameters: - A maximum of connections on a task - 1; - The withheld connections on a task - 1; - Globally maximum quantity of slots at return - the 1st press the OK button for confirmation of application of the selected changes (for the client of BitComet).
11. Apply a checkbox in the field SuperSid in the section "Other Settings" of the opened Properties of a Torrent dialog box and confirm the choice with clicking of the OK button (for the client of BitComet).
