How to make beet chips

Every third, and maybe to every second person likes purchased chips. All know that their structure leaves much to be desired. It doesn't mean that it is necessary to eat chips at all, there is always an alternative option. I suggest you to make in house conditions chips of beet. They not only very tasty, but also very useful.

It is required to you

  • - beet - 1 kg;
  • - a buckwheat honey - 100 ml;
  • - olive oil - 100 ml;
  • - pine nuts - 50 g.

Instruction

1. First of all carefully wash out beet under flowing water. Then remove a skin from a surface of vegetables. Sharp accurately knife each fruit in a form of slices or circles. Cut as it is pleasant to you. Consider that pieces have to be by all means thin.

2. Lay out the crushed beet in a separate bowl which has rather deep bottom. Add olive oil to the cut vegetables. Accurately mix educated mix so that oil was evenly distributed on all pieces of beet.

3. Cover a baking tray for roasting with either a food foil, or special baking paper, that is parchment, and spread out on it oil pieces of beet so that between slices there was some distance. In such look place future beet chips in an oven and bake them at a temperature of 200 degrees for half an hour.

4. Meanwhile crush pine nuts. You can grind or just pound them in a mortar. Connect the received nut meat to honey from a buckwheat. Mix everything to a uniform state.

5. After time take the baked beet from an oven and apply on each its piece mix from a buckwheat honey and cedar a nutlet. Again send a dish to an oven, but now only for 5 minutes.

6. After passing of 5 minutes take the baked vegetables from an oven and let's them cool down completely. Beet chips are ready!
