How to prepare a holodnik

Holodnik – a dish of Belarusian cuisine. It is cold summer soup similar to the Russian okroshka, but it has an essential difference. The holodnik surely with beet is preparing that gives him beautiful saturated color, and it is filled in with kefir.

    • For a holodnik with ham:
    • one large beet;
    • 4 eggs;

    • 4 fresh cucumbers;
    • 300 g of ham (smoked meat or sausage);
    • kefir;
    • unsalted carbonated mineral water;
    • green onions;
    • fennel;
    • table horse-radish;

Instruction
