What products increase immunity

The nature awarded people with the ideal mechanism of fight against diseases – the immune system. Its functioning in many respects depends on behavior of the person: way of life, habits, food. The products containing vitamins and mineral substances, necessary for health, are the main stimulators of this important system of a human body.

Some of the most important stimulators of the immune system – antioxidants – the substances which are preventing disintegration of cages and fabrics and slowing down aging process. Antioxidants have the huge potential of strengthening of health, but to accept them in tablets absolutely optional. They bring the greatest benefit when come to an organism the easiest way - with food. Vegetables, fruit and cereals contain a full range of these biologically useful substances.

The main antioxidants are vitamins A, With and E. To synthesize vitamin A, the human body uses the beta carotene consisting of carotinoids. They are in many intensively painted vegetables: cow and Brussels sprout, dark leaf lettuce, broccoli, pumpkin, red paprika, tomatoes, carrots and other root crops. Also all painted fruit and berries are rich with carotene: pears, apples, strawberry, gooseberry, blackberry, bilberry, cherry. Eating any orange, yellow, red or dark green fruit or vegetable, you absorb tens and hundreds of various carotinoids. A large amount of Retinolum (vitamin A) contains also in animal products: liver, cod-liver oil, yolks of eggs, butter and whole milk.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is the most powerful antioxidant thanks to unique ability to stop the oxidation processes happening in cages. At the same time, vitamin C forces cages of the immune system to struggle more vigorously with viruses and bacteria, weakening unpleasant symptoms of infections and inflammatory processes. The best sources of ascorbic acid: vegetables and fruit, especially blackcurrant, oranges, lemons, headed and cauliflower, broccoli, potatoes, red and green pepper, parsley. Vitamin E (tocopherol) is very important for the correct metabolism and normal functioning of the immune system. Its shortcoming weakens protective forces of an organism, doing weaker the immune answer. Tocopherol contains in whole cereals, bran, a sprouted wheat, vegetable oil (sunflower, corn, olive), an asparagus, a leafy vegetables, broccoli, green peas, tomatoes, spinach, sunflower seeds sunflower, nuts, avocado and shrimps. Not less important stimulators of the immune system are mineral substances which full range is present at a plant food – grain, bean, in green vegetables, fruit and root crops. Valuable mineral components also are in red meat, a bird and fish. Certainly, all mineral substances are necessary for the person, but only some of them have considerable impact on the immune system is a zinc, copper, magnesium and iron. They contain in calf's liver, crabs, crayfish, shrimps, beef, baking yeast, bread from flour of an integral grinding, a bird, lentil, nuts, brown rice. In addition magnesium is present also at soybeans, raisin and bananas, and iron – at bran, dried apricots, dates, spinach and chocolate without additives.
