It is possible to call Chinese cabbage safely vegetable, new to our country, which is available on sale. On the nutritional value it does not concede to normal white cabbage at all, and it is possible even to tell exceeds on the useful and medicinal properties. It is possible to grow up Chinese cabbage and on own site.

1. Before planting Chinese cabbage, to grow up seedling is necessary. Germination of seeds happens pretty fast, cotyledons begin to reveal in four days (at temperature of 20 degrees). The Chinese cabbage is very sensitive to frosts, but also does not transfer strong heat under the influence of which the floriferous stalk is formed. Optimum temperaturya for cultivation of this vegetable – +15-20 degrees, the constant humidity is necessary.
2. Pave the way. As the best predecessors are considered pumpkin, bean, potatoes, tomatoes, grain and onions. To receive early harvest, choose the site with the easy soil, it will quickly get warm in the spring. When the earth thaws (in April), bring on the bed filled since fall with humus ashes and prorykhlita.
3. Seedling for jumping has to have three-four well developed leaflets and to be age two-three weeks. The distance between seedling has to make 20-30 centimeters, between ranks – 45 centimeters. The tendency to disease of mucous and vascular bacterioses is considered feature of Chinese cabbage, especially at damage of root system. Therefore direct crops of seeds in soil under the film shelter are welcomed.
4. Leaving consists weeds and maintenance of the soil in friable state at a distance, watering at the same time has to be moderate. Feed up Chinese cabbage only once for the entire period of growth by nettle (as soon as the nettle a little grows up, break it and use in the form of fertilizing).

6. Whatever you have chosen way of cultivation of Chinese cabbage – seedling or sowing, do not wait for final forming of head of cabbage, emergence of peduncles and the beginning of strelkovaniye of plant. Cut off heads of cabbage until the end of June (25-30 numbers).
