The monstera is very effective plant. It perfectly looks in any interior, at the same time improves indoor climate: moistens air and absorbs the formaldehydes which are emitted from chipboard and polyfoam. To all other the monstera is unpretentious in contents, it is easy to multiply it.
1. Very often the monstera is made multiple copies shanks. It is necessary to cut off in the spring or in the summer top or part of stalk sharp knife. The cut has to pass below that place where there is small knot with air root. This root will turn then into normal. The cut should be powdered with pounded activated carbon. To place shank in water or bank sand, moss sphagnum that at it grew backs. If the shank is not in water, from above it is better to cover it with plastic bag that backs grew quicker.
2. The monstera can also be made multiple copies air layers. It is necessary to envelop its stalk moss sphagnum, and then to fix from above cellophane. Through some time, it is normal within month, backs are formed. Then the young monstera should be separated from donor plant and to replace in separate pot.
3. It is possible to multiply monstera and by means of seeds. Process this difficult, long, but interesting. Everything becomes as usual: seeds are retted, sowed in seedling box. After there are shoots, them dive in separate pots. Young plants are replaced every year. In two years the joy of monstera will be had by from 2 to 4 real leaves.
