1. Define who can become the consumer of products of processing of plastic waste. Results of processing of such garbage – secondary polyamide, polyvinylchloride, polypropylene and polyethylene – can interest the enterprises making plastic consumer goods. Exception are products which have to contact with foodstuff and pharmaceutical medicines. Find out at what price potential consumers take the processed waste.
2. From 1 kg of plastic waste you receive about 0.8 kg of secondary polyethylene after processing. In average garbage can polymers make about a half of waste. Count the financial opportunities for creation of the shop for processing of plastic waste. Depending on equipment selection you should invest $50-300 thousand in business.
3. Collect necessary documents. Several months can be necessary for obtaining the license for the right to be engaged in collecting and processing of municipal solid waste and other permissions to you. The enterprise specializing in collecting, placement and waste treatment will have to pass ecological assessment and to get the corresponding ecological permission.
4. With the project documentation, the expert report and the description of processes of future processing enterprise address in municipal services of the city, to sanitary and fire-prevention services.
5. Find the building on the outskirts of the city, in close proximity to dump or in industrial area of the city. The required area of industrial premises has to be 300-500 sq.m., under the warehouse take away not less than 100 sq.m. 6. Get the sorting line, the crusher, the accumulative bunker, press, magnet and other equipment for waste recycling.
7. Necessary raw materials can be received on dump of waste (in the presence of permission of municipal municipal services). In process of growth of processing enterprise organize own procuring points (it is reasonable to place them on city dumps).
8. Pick up personnel. Work has to be organized in several changes. Essence of works at which the personnel will be engaged: sorting, rejection and crushing of waste. Despite simple nature of work, you will need the professionals capable to distinguish suitable plastic waste from unsuitable and to train in it beginners.
