1. The cow-parsnip very quickly grows and has huge survivability. It can reach the huge sizes (up to four meters high). In the morning on this plant so much dew is formed that it is possible to wash up hands or to wash. But you should not approach cow-parsnip at all, having touched this handsome, you risk to get the severe burns. The cow-parsnip emits toxic agents which can cause painful states in the atmosphere: headache (sometimes before consciousness loss), nausea and vomiting. This plant is especially dangerous during blossoming.
2. To get rid of this weed forever, it is better to use various methods, so you will increase the probability of successful result. You carry out cutting of flowers on small sites and at initial stage of blossoming. The main thing is to use safety precautions as cow-parsnip juice at hit on skin can cause appearance of burn. Surely put on hands rubber gloves, clothes raincoat or any material which will not allow juice to be absorbed in clothes. Clasp umbrella from below and cut off all flowers by means of scissors or secateurs.
3. The following method of fight against cow-parsnip is burning. Thanks to it you will destroy weed seeds during maturing. Do not miss the moment of holding this action (prior to maturing of fruits in the largest umbrella). This way demands accuracy and extra care. Pour over umbrellas of plants combustible liquid, set fire. Depart far away as during burning from cow-parsnip will emit harmful essential oils. Observe fire safety, do not allow hit of juice on clothes and open areas of body.
4. Before blossoming of cow-parsnip process plants herbicides, later processing will be less effective. Concentration of the used herbicides has to be double or even threefold from the registered instruction. The effect will be reached after two-three such processings with break between them two weeks. It is abundant moisten with herbicides generative escapes, the sheet socket, inflorescences.
5. It is possible to use manual individual way. In the early spring when plants only begin to grow – it is a high time to come to personal plot with spade. It is very important to use well ground tool at the same time. Cut down the place of growth of cow-parsnip (is slightly lower than root neck). If you cut down weed above, then on root there can be several sleeping kidneys, the plant will go to growth again and will give seeds.
