1. So, to sew the Roman curtains, it is necessary to decide on material for a start. Usually for tailoring use rigid and dry portyerny fabrics. However curtains from transparent and translucent fabric look not less attractively.
2. Before going to salon of fabrics, decide also on the sizes of future curtain. It can correspond completely to the sizes of window or close it from ceiling to the floor.
3. Taking measurements, do not forget to throw each party still with 5 cm for seams.
4. For example, height of your window is 150 cm. To sew the Roman curtain, take fabric and on reverse side chalk note places of folds and installation of rings. The distance between folds should not exceed 20 cm. Thus, them at you exactly 7 has to turn out.
5. Surely process all side edges of fabric.
6. Attach tape velcro to wooden level by means of nails or the furniture stapler.
7. That the Roman curtain could be removed quietly, sew also to the top cut of curtain the same tape velcro.
8. The lower part of curtain has to be surely executed with subcollar in which the making heavier level has to be located.
9. Take finishing border and sew it between noted places of folds. Then you take rail and you push it in each border.
10. On each such border about three rings have to be placed equally spaced. If rail wooden, rings can be fixed also by nails.
11. Now you can attach curtain to wooden level with velcro and fix cord on window frame.
12. Since curtain bottom, pass cord through each ringlet to the very top and pull together rather hardly.
13. In such situation attach wooden level to window and release already ready Roman curtain.
