Steel – heavier devices. Are applied to installation in concrete or composite bowls of the pool. Thanks to the durability can serve several times longer, than plastic analogs. At the same time this look has higher price.
It is necessary to decide also on the correct look. If the pool has in large volume, stop on the built-in model. Such types have high performance, guarantee good results of cleaning of large volume of water.
For small models will be the hinged skimmer enough. It is less productive, but there will be no problems with its installation. The skimmer from sanitary pipes
One more option of independent production of the skimmer assumes application of sanitary pipes. For work it will be required:
- three pipes 110x550, 50x550 and 32х400 of mm;
- the repair coupling for sewage pipes;
- direct T-coupler;
- two stubs from diameters of 110 mm;
- transitional elastic bands;
- technoplex for production of float;
- thin tube from metalplastic.
At first the round stub undertakes, in it the opening no more than 52 mm becomes. The transitional elastic band is inserted into it. For production of the lower part the PVC direct T-coupler is mounted in the repair coupling. The bottom is closed by stub, and in side transition the cup seal is established.
For production of float polyfoam from which the circle is cut out undertakes. Outer diameter has to be slightly less main pipe. It is necessary to put on float pipe, to record it several centimeters higher than the middle.
That the skimmer did not emerge, on bottom of the body it is necessary to put cargo. It is necessary to insert into the lower part pipe with diameter of 110 mm, and into it element with float and the prepared stub. In upper part it is necessary to cut thread under metal tube. It has to go up, be under water surface. Then air will be able freely to come out. In lower the splitter is installed hose, and on its other end – the adapter. It is necessary to connect the received skimmer about the filter pump.
