1. Such unit of measure as centimeter is used for measurement of length (width, height, thickness) of a subject (object). Cubes (cubic centimeters) are applied to measurement of volume. Therefore before transferring centimeters to cubes, specify what parameters were measured in centimeters.
2. If dimensions of the object having the form of a rectangular parallelepiped were measured in centimeters, then just multiply among themselves numerical values of length, width, height (thickness) of an object. As a result the subject volume expressed in cubes (cm³) will turn out.
