Concept of corporate ethics

Corporate ethics of the company is a steady system of collective values, traditions, beliefs, standards of behavior of employees. Rules of corporate ethics of business in a symbolical, spiritual and material environment of the people working in the concrete organization are expressed.

Fundamentals of corporate ethics include the following attributes:

  1. The general values which employees appreciate in the life, work – the positions, possibilities of advance in career, work.
  2. Faith in the management, success, the forces, mutual aid and justice.
  3. Communication system in collective, communication language, use of oral, written, nonverbal communication, gesticulations and other.
  4. Understanding of time, attitude towards him, its correct use, observance of the schedule of the working day, schedule of work.
  5. Relationship between people who differ depending on age, the status, a position, the level of knowledge. Here it is possible to carry ways and methods of the solution of conflict situations.
  6. Development of workers, holding the training procedures, trainings, training of new employees, process of transfer of experience, skills and knowledge.
  7. Labor ethics, stimulation methods to achievements. Distribution of duties, job evaluation, a reward, ways of advance on an office ladder.
  8. Appearance of employees, official style of clothes, behavior.

All these characteristics, in total is a formation of corporate ethics. Process this mutual – the people working in the organization form corporate ethics of the organization, and at the same time culture affects their behavior.

Features of corporate ethics

Corporate ethics and etiquette are shown in material and spiritual things: appearance of employees, registration of office rooms, in symbols, the corporate style, forms of encouragement and rewardings. The culture of the organization is a general characteristic of all organization.

It should be noted that the principles of corporate ethics are also restrictions, process of discussion of standards, norms and values which never stops. As soon as the company enters the document regulating corporate ethics and measures of restraint of its violations it is forced to develop specially under it communication network. If it does not occur, problems of corporate ethics appear - access of information to the management is blocked, the negative collects, heads of an average link play a destructive role. Violations of corporate ethics have to be punished – financially and administratively.

In all successful companies the accurate list of the special measures and ways directed to formation of a healthy ethical basis of the labor relations is developed. Successfully to realize a main objective of business, heads of the companies have to work on creation of such value as corporate ethics.
