In Europe the wind generators are widely used as alternative source of power supply. Interest in generators and at the Russian consumers grows – in proportion to increase in tariffs on the electric power. It is possible to construct the generator – the simplest model in house conditions.

- - metal pipe;

- - bicycle chain;

Instruction
1. Manufacture generator blades of the facilitated metal barrel. It is possible to use steel or aluminum tanks which are characterized by high rigidity and are available at the price. Choose barrel volume depending on the necessary power of the wind generator as it increases in proportion to height and diameter of capacity. Optimal variant – hundred-liter tanks.
2. Make wind wheel. For this purpose transfer contours of blades of the wind generator to metal, make cut barrels on each side, then unbend edges of components of the windwheel on the necessary corner. Cut off at the edges the Bulgarian. The minimum quantity of blades in the self-made generator – two, but maybe is more.
3. Make vertical axis of the generator of piece of pipe and fix on it wind wheel. The wind generator design with vertical axis is simpler than the others, but it does not affect overall performance of the equipment in any way. Connect parts welding seam.
4. Install the compact wind generator on the place which is earlier defined for it so that the support on which blades are fixed was resistant to wind resistance. It is possible to receive the electric power from wheel and without welding, using bicycle chain, rubber roller, belt for its transfer. As the electric generator it can be used conducted - or the motor-generator.
