1. The wood should be prepared, since late fall till early spring when there is no movement of juice. The bar made of such wood will have the smallest humidity and will quickly dry out. If the wood is prepared during the movement of juice, late spring or in the summer, drying will require more time.
2. To dry bar, it needs to be put in equal stacks. Be near between everyone to lay lanes that there was distance for air. To make drying under canopy in well blown place. If to put material in the sun, can lead it. Densely put bar will become covered by black raid and will decay.
3. For industrial drying special thermal cameras with variable temperature which is set depending on breed of tree are used. But such dryers cost very much and in the individual purposes are not used. Of course, it is possible to buy already completely dry-through sawn timber, but it will be twice more expensive, than just sawn.
4. In house conditions it is possible to build imitation of the thermal camera. For this purpose the certain room equipped with the normal oven and the system of hot-water heating on all perimeter of walls will be required. Sawn timber consists equal stacks with laying of lane. Temperature to the room is brought to 50 degrees for 12 hours, then lowered within the next 12 hours. And such varying duty is supported before full drying of bar.
5. Also the bar can be dried directly in fellings. Unlike round timber which is dried in felling from 12 to 16 months the drying of bar takes only 6 months. To dry material in such a way, it is necessary to make felling, to bring together him on plain surface and to leave for 6 months.
6. After full drying on walls it is necessary to make marking paint, to sort felling and to establish on the constant place.
