- - sunflower seeds of apples,
- - cup,
- - cotton wool.
Instruction
1. At first it is necessary to pull out the intact large seeds from apples and to place in cup in wet cotton wool. The cup should be covered, put in cellar or in the fridge (not in the freezer!) and regularly to check whether have sprouted sunflower seeds.
2. As soon as seedlings considerably are extended from cup, it is possible to select the strongest by sight and to put. It should be done in the fall or in the early spring. Seedlings are placed on bed, at distance about 20 cm from each other. On perspective seedlings the dark green or glaucous large leaves trimmed from bottom side grow. At each leaf – thick plate, usually curved or wavy. There are no prickles and shimp on young apple-tree. Signs of wildness at the apple-tree growing from sunflower seed it is short escapes with thin needles on the ends. At the same time leaves small and bright green, and leaf plate – thin and direct.
3. The next year, is closer to winter, young apple-trees should be replaced in high pots. High capacity has to be in order that to long central root of tree it was not close, otherwise the apple-tree will develop too slowly.
4. The next fall of tree it is necessary to land under the open sky, again now - on the new place. It is the first "serious" change. During it some gardeners for more active development of tree prishchipyvat the main root of apple-tree or tuck it by 90 degrees.
5. Similar changes has to be three (after the second and after the third year of growth of apple-tree). For the third time the tree changes to the constant place. At large number of the apple-trees which are grown up from sunflower seeds it is possible to put them in the second row of green hedge.
